MANGO & BERRY layered smoothie

 

The easiest way of making something as simple as a smoothie look fancy – put some layers in it.

These are two of my favourite smoothies – a very berry smoothie with every berry in my fridge and the ultimate creamy mango. Combine these two and the result is just magical!

 

Ingredients

For the berry smoothie:

400ml different kinds of berries – blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, figs ets

2 bananas, fresh or frozen

250ml plant-based milk

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

 

For the mango smoothie:

3 mango cheeks, fresh or frozen

2 bananas, fresh or frozen

squeeze of lime

 

Method

Start by making the berry smoothie – place all ingredients in the jug of a blender and blend until smooth. Pour half way in glasses.

Next, rinse the blender and place all the ingredients for the mango smoothie in the jug. Blend until smooth and pour into glasses with the help of a spoon – hold it at the top of the berry smoothie. Enjoy!
